On Thursday, July 15, the cast of Power Balladz had their first rehearsal at the Midtown Theatre. The show, created by Mike Todaro and Dan Nycklemoe with Peter Rothstein, will begin performances at the theater on August 5 in anticipation of an official opening on August 19. Todaro will direct.

The interactive piece features rock anthems of the 70's, 80's and 90's, including numbers by Guns 'N' Roses, Journey, Heart, Queens, Bon Jovi, and Styx, among others. The company will feature Dieter Bierbrauer, Scott Richard Foster, and Mary Mossberg.

The creative team will include Bradley Clements (lighting design), Hilary Noxon (scenic design), Alex Ritter (sound design), Abbi Stern (costume design), and Jason Loffredo (music supervisor), along with Nycklemoe, who serves as video designer.
