MCC Theater has announced the selections for its fourth annual FreshPlay Festival of shows written by teenagers, to run August 6-9 at the Peter Jay Sharp Theater.

The selections will be Hans Nielsen's Mad Comfortable, directed by Jackson Gay; Julia Torres' Tattle Tell, directed by Maria Goyanes; Pedro Guerrero's The Naked Hour, directed by Chad Rabinovitz; and Apple Vargas' Poof, directed by Donya Washington.

As previously announced, Elizabeth Marvel will star in the world premiere of Michael Weller's Fifty Words, to be presented by MCC Theater at the Lucille Lortel Theatre, September 10-October 25, with an opening set for September 28. Austin Pendleton will direct the play, which is an expansive look at modern marriage, as seen through the looking glass of one couple's long night's journey into day.

MCC's season will also include Neil LaBute's The Break of Noon (January 14-February 28) and the musical Coraline (May 6-June 20), featuring music and lyrics by Stephin Merritt, book by David Greenspan, based on the novel by Neil Gaiman, and direction by Leigh Silverman.
