Nicholas Rodriguez, who recently joined ABC's One Life to Live, will take over the roles usually played by Drama Desk nominee Demond Green in The Toxic Avenger during the latter's scheduled break from the show, July 1-19.

Rodriguez has understudied all the male roles in the musical since it began its run at New World Stages. His additional stage credits include the title role in Tarzan, as well as Oklahoma!, Angels, Almost Heaven: The Songs of John Denver, and Bajour

Rodriguez will play Nick on One Life to Live, and will join a cast that includes numerous stage actors, including Robin Strasser, Kathy Brier, Peter Bartlett, Ilene Kristen, Jean-Paul Lavoisier, and Tony Award winner Patricia Elliott.
