Girl(s)' Night Out

Martha Stewart, Chris Meloni, James Franco, and other stars join Eric McCormack, Fran Drescher, Maura Tierney and company for the opening of Neil LaBute's Some Girl(s).









MCC's production of Neil LaBute's latest battle-of-the-sexes play, Some Girl(s), opened last night at the Lucille Lortel Theatre and brought out a star-studded crowd to applaud the star-studded cast. At the after-party at the Robert Miller Gallery in Chelsea, leading man Eric McCormack cuddled with two of his four female co-stars: Fran Drescher (left), who plays cool college professor Lindsay, and Brooke Smith, who plays Sam, a Seattle housewife.















ER star Maura Tierney made a smashing New York stage debut as Bobbi, another of McCormack's onstage conquests.




















Judy Reyes, Tierney's fellow NBC star and a stage veteran, rounds out the show's forceful female foursome as the free-spirited artist Tyler.




















Among the notable first-nighters were the very much in demand James Franco, who's in town filming the eagerly awaited Spider-Man 3...



















...domestic doyenne Martha Stewart...





















...super-sexy Bobby Cannavale, who played McCormack's lover Vince on Will & Grace, and his gorgeous other half, actress Annabella Sciorra, who stars on NBC's Law & Order: Criminal Intent...



















...and another member of the Law & Order family, the handsome Christopher Meloni.



















Also on hand: The very talented James McDaniel, who worked with Some Girl(s) director Jo Bonney on last season's revival of A Soldier's Play...

...and MCC artistic director Robert LuPone with playwright Eric Bogosian, who will work with Bonney -- his wife -- next season on the Second Stage Theatre revival of his seminal work subUrbia.
