(© Joseph Marzullo/WENN) | Kate Blumberg and Peter Maloney will join current cast members Tim Hopper, Johanna Day, J.R. Horne, Jordan Lage, Mark Linn-Baker, Mary Del Pentecost, and Joey Slotnick on Tuesday, May 13 in Ethan Coen's trio of short plays, Almost an Evening at The Bleecker Street Theatre. They replace Mary McCann and F. Murray Abraham. respectively.
Almost An Evening, first seen this year at Atlantic Stage 2, consists of the plays Waiting, Four Benches, and Debate. It is directed by Neil Pepe and the creative team includes Riccardo Hernandez (sets), Ilona Somogyi (costumes), Donald Holder (lighting), and Eric Shim (sound).
Coen is best-known as an Oscar-winning director and screenwriter -- with his brother Joel -- of such films as Fargo, Barton Fink, and O Brother, Where Art Thou?. The pair recently won the Academy Award and many other honors for their film No Country for Old Men.
