Jamie Farr and Anita Gillette to Star in Flamingo Court

Emmy Award nominee Jamie Farr and Tony Award nominee Anita Gillette will star in Luigi Creatore's comedy, Flamingo Court, to be presented at New World Stages beginning July 17 in anticipation of a July 31 opening. Steven Yuhasz will direct.

The pair take on multiple roles in three one act plays featuring the loopy and endearing residents of a South Florida apartment complex

The cast will also feature Lucy Martin, Herbert Rubens, and J. Cameron Barnett. The creative team willi include Jim Youmans (scenic design), Carol Sherry (costume design), Herrick Goldman (lighting design), and David Arnold (sound design).

Farr is best known as Corporal Max Klinger on the long-running CBS series M*A*S*H. He's appeared on Broadway in Guys and Dolls, and additional stage credits include The Will Rogers Follies, The Odd Couple, Moon Over Buffalo, and Catch Me If You Can.

Gillete was Tony nominated for Chapter Two, and additional Broadway credits include Carnival, Gypsy, Don't Drink the Water, All American, Jimmy, They're Playing Our Song, Brighton Beach Memoirs, Mr. President, The Gay Life, Kelly, and Showboat.
