Michael Berresse, Charles Kimbrough Join Encores! No, No, Nanette

Michael Berresse and Charles Kimbrough will join previously announced stars Beth Leavel, Rosie O'Donnell, Mara Davi, Sandy Duncan, and Shonn Wiley in the City Center Encores! production of the season, No, No, Nanette , May 8-12. The show will be directed by Tony Award winner Walter Bobbie, with musical direction by Rob Fisher.

The show will use the 1971 version of the musical, featuring a book adapted by Burt Shevelove (the original book is by Otto Harbach and Frank Mandel) with the original music by Vincent Youmans and lyrics by Irving Caesar and Harbach.

The cast will also include Nancy Anderson, Jennifer Cody, Angel Reda, David Baum, Brandon Davidson, Leah Edwards, Sara Edwards, Zak Edwards, Mary Giattino, Luke Hawkins, Matthew J. Kilgore, Cara Kjellman, Todd Lattimore, Deborah Lew, Ryan Malyar, Brent McBeth, Alessa Neeck, Carolann M. Sanita, Kiira Schmidt, Chad Seib, Kelly Sheehan, Anna Aimee White, and Jacob ben Widmar.

Berresse has starred on Broadway in Chicago, Kiss Me, Kate, for which he received a Tony Award nomination, The Light in the Piazza, and A Chorus Line, and is the director of [title of show], which will open at Broadway's Lyceum Theatre this summer.

Kimbrough, who replaces previously announced star Fred Willard, received a Tony Award nomination for Company and has also starred on Broadway in Candide, Hay Fever, and Sunday in the Park With George. He received an Emmy Award nomination for his role as Jim Dial on the CBS sitcom Murphy Brown.
