Full casting has been announced for the Public Theatre's Shakespeare in the Park production of Hamlet, to be presented May 27-June 29 at the Delacorte Theatre in Central Park. The Public's artistic director Oskar Eustis will direct the show, which opens officially on June 17.

As previously announced, Michael Stuhlbarg will play the title role, and Andre Braugher will play Claudius. Lauren Ambrose will play Ophelia and Sam Waterston will play Polonius, replacing previously announced stars Lily Rabe and Richard Easton, who withdrew due to scheduling conflicts.

The cast will also feature Kevin Caroll as Horatio, Margaret Colin as Gertrude, David Harbour as Laertes, Hoon Lee as Rosencratz, Piter Marek as Bernardo and Fortinbras, Greg McFadden as Guildenstern, Julio Monge as Osric and Francisco, Paul O'Brien as Voltemand and the Priest, Gilbert Owuor as Marcellus, Jay O. Sanders as Ghost, Gravedigger, and Player King, Miriam Silverman as Player Queen, and Christopher Bonewitz, Matt Carlson, W. Tre Davis, Stephen James King, and Dana Lyn in the Ensemble.

The creative team will feature David Korins (sets), Ann Hould-Ward (costumes), Michael Chybowsku (lighting), and Acme Sound Partners (sound).
