New York City
The Winter’s Tale is Shakespeare’s profound exploration of the simple miracles in life and the forces that shape them: love, friendship and forgiveness. Kings and queens, playful children, dancing shepards, a singing street-hustler, an extraordinary statue and a famously hungry bear are visited and revisited throughout this Shakespearean masterpiece. The production stars David Strathairn.
There are no matinees February 8, or 15.
