About This Show

In a city paralysed by fear of a faceless threat that is unseen but ever present, seven friends gather to await their saviour or their slaughter. The streets outside are crowded, the sound of destruction echoes through the barren buildings, and dust fills the air.
In the fading light of the only lamp, the friends draw strength from memories and magic, telling tales and singing songs, while above them a raging terror prepares to shatter the walls and splinter their bones. They await the arrival of Abbas, the man who has brought them together to reveal a way out. But the clock is ticking and they are trapped in a room that could become their tomb.
Against this backdrop of dread and destruction, The Cinnamon Moths focuses on bonds of community, friendship and love, as the characters refuse to give up on hope or each other.
The Cinnamon Moths is the latest play by British playwrights David Kantounas and Michael Harris, their last – The Trouble with Joan Antith – played to critical acclaim in the UK and Europe, winning Best Play at the Prague Fringe Festival in 2003 and a second award from the Prague Post.

Performances on October 2nd, 9th and 16th run at 3pm and 8pm.
