Using songs from their various early musicals (produced or otherwise), from tender ballads to hysterical husband-hunting laments, from wry comments on trendy marriages to ecstatic shouting-from-the-rooftop celebration, Starting Here, Starting Now, a bold journey through the maze of relationships, debuted in 1976 at Manhattan Theater Club before transferring to Barbarann Theater Restaurant followed by a Grammy nomination for the original cast album.
