About This Show

French Institute Alliance Francaise presents Night (La Nuit) by Elie Wiesel. Director Claude Vajda adapted Wiesel’s autobiographical novel for the stage, in which he tells how – from the pious and tranquil world of a small Jewish community in Poland, where as an adolescent he studied the Talmud – he and his family were delivered to the hell of the concentration camps. Alain Mottet portrays the narrator of an unforgettable night, a symbol to thousands of people of a collective memory.
