Moon Water

Cloud Gate Dance Theatre of Taiwan returns with Moon Water, a visually stunning pure-dance work developed from movements based on tai chi and martial arts. By juxtaposing the ancient martial arts’ sprial-like movements with J.S. Bach’s Six Suites for Solo Cello, Lin Hwai-min has created a dance both contemplative and expansive, one that effortlessly fuses elements of East and West to arrive at a universal whole.
