Playwrights Horizons presents the New York premiere of Kira Obolensky’s new comedy. Set in 1946 Hollywood, LOBSTER ALICE traces John Finch, a stressed-out animator in the throes of an artistic blockage. Finch, obliviously finds himself inspired by his feelings toward his assistant, Alice. That and the arrival of surrealist painter Salvador Dali, launch his creativity onto a new plane.
