Six accomplished actors, in a fully-realized concert presentation of Sean O’Casey’s acclaimed autobiographies, I Knock at the Door and Pictures in the Hallway, bring the Dublin of the great wordsmith’s youth alive – a vivid gallery of rogues, patriots, saints, and hypocrites. With the perspective and wit of the mature O’Casey as our onstage guide, we meet his gentle mother, fierce in her love as the proverbial tiger and himself as a youth, surmounting poverty and illness, fighting with spunky humor to swim upstream in a society divided by nationality, class, religion and ignorance.
