Horizon Theatre Rep presents the New York premiere of David Greig’s highly lauded translation of Albert Camus’ Caligula. Rafael De Mussa directs.

This production is set in an unspecified country during the 20th century, where the charismatic leader Caligula is given absolute freedom to challenge social convention in pursuit of personal obsession. Following the death of his beloved sister, Emperor Caligula deserts his people and honored position for three days and three nights. He returns with a single objective: to understand the meaning of life.
