WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
The New Jersey Performing Arts Center presents Poetry Speaks, an original program by Akila Worksongs. April Silver, founder of the Brooklyn-based Akila Worksongs produces a full day of panel discussions, poetry readings and workshops with legendary poets, as well as renowned poets of the Hip Hop generation.
