Luna Stage's premiere cabaret series presents an evening with poetic powerhouse Helena D. Lewis. A passionate performer gifted with keen insight, Lewis graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelors in Biology and is a former member of the poetic trio, 2 Dogs & A Cat, Nubian Expressions, Uninhibited Theater Company, and the undefeated New Jersey First Wave Slam Team. Lewis was a member of the Nuyorican Poets Café 2000 National Slam Team which placed third at the National Poetry Slam in Providence, Rhode Island. She has performed at numerous colleges, universities, and venues across the country.
