Voice of the Dragon is a powerful and innovative new artistic work. This 17th century Chinese legend is transformed into a martial arts ballet and epic action-adventure rife with intrigue, opportunism, betrayal and revolutionary redemption. Set during the early Ching dynasty (around the 1600s), with the overthrow of China's Ming Dynasty by the foreign invading Manchus, the renegade nun Gar Man Jang Jang conspires with the Manchu imperial forces to destroy the Shaolin Temple.
