WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
This record-breaking, 12-time Tony Award winner is based on Mel Brooks' outrageous, Oscar-winning 1968 film, about down-on-his-luck theatrical producer Max Bialystock and mousy accountant Leo Bloom. Together, they hatch the ultimate scam: raise more money than they need for a sure-fire Broadway flop -- then pocket the difference. Their sure-fire musical fiasco: Springtime for Hitler.
