WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Nine Hills One Valley is a transcendent, poetic epic that confronts the modern-day turmoil facing theatrical innovator Ratan Thiyam's native Manipur, India. His world-renowned company will weave a living tapestry of text, light, color, and motion - including live music and stunning dance performed in traditional Manipuri ceremonial dress - while addressing universal themes of personal responsibility and community obligation.
