WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Broadway used to produce pop hits -- but today, pop hits often provide the basis for new musical theater. Movin' Out is the exuberant dance musical that sets the unforgettable songs of Billy Joel to Twyla Tharp's Tony-winning choreography. Movin' Out weaves 24 Joel hits --performed live by an on-stage rock band -- into sweeping narrative that covers two turbulent decades in the lives of six lifelong friends.
