The Community Theatre presents MOMIX in Baseball. A smooth-flowing suite of brief vignettes, Baseball features a series of
movement both comical and abstract, but it's more than about the game.
Baseball is about heroes, history and humor, featuring flying spheres and
the beauty of bodies in motion. Originated from a 20-minute dance that Moses
Pendleton created for the opening of the San Francisco Giants' new spring
training facility, the show features a series of unconnected scenes that
range from cave people hurling stones for the first time to the beauty of a
pitcher's windup. Featuring music by James Brown, Queen, Loreena
McKennitt and more.
