WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Because Life Begins (To Suck) at 40... A specially themed Manhattan Comedy Night, Four Sides of 40 takes a hilarious look at the "prime of your life" from four very different perspectives. There's the married father of three, the single guy living in the Manhattan dating scene, the newlywed adjusting to life with a wife after forty years of freedom, and (of course) the divorcée. The show stars Lenny Marcus, Al Ducharme, Eric McMahon and Patty Rosborough, comics who are actually living and experiencing the joys and horrors of waking up and realizing their lives - for better or worse - have now reached the early stages of middle age. Bernadette Pauley hosts. Eric McMahon (The Married Father of 3) If you've ever wondered what life would be like if a type-A, high strung, alpha male wound up raising three daughters, then look no further than a night of informative comedy with Eric McMahon. You will understand the struggle of trying to keep a marriage "blissful" after 20 years, trying to keep high school boys away from his daughters and protecting their innocence, and dealing with an aging body that simply doesn't function like the well oiled machine it used to be. His upbeat, energetic delivery and his versatility to work blue or squeaky clean has made him a favorite all over the country. He has recently opened for both Ray Romano and Andrew "Dice" Clay. Lenny Marcus (The Single Guy) Lenny Marcus has been a stand-up comedian in NYC for over ten years. This past winter he performed at HBO's U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colorado. He has also made three appearances at the prestigious Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal. Lenny has performed stand-up on NBC's Friday Nite and Comedy Showcase with Louie Anderson and MTV's The Jim Breuer Show. Lenny has written for national publications such as Us Weekly and is currently a staff writer for DailyComedy.com. Al Ducharme (The Newlywed) Al Ducharme makes his home in NYC with his wife and their no kids. While their married friends are getting kids to school and picking them up from soccer practice, Al and his wife are busy myspace-ing people, drinking martinis and contemplating whether or not they are ready to adopt a Chihuahua (hey, a dog is a BIG responsibility!). Al's film credits include Next Stop Wonderland and Original Sin. On TV he has provided comedic commentary for Inside Edition, has appeared in tons of funny commercials, and was host of the first season of Mission Organization on HGTV. He has been a featured performer at the prestigious Montreal Comedy Festival and the Gala at the Boston Comedy Festival. Patty Rosborough (The Bitter Divorcée) Veteran comic Patty Rosborough was the co-host of Comedy Central's Short Attention Span Theater with Jon Stewart. As a top New York City comic, she has performed her breathless, frenetic, and shamelessly uninhibited routine at every major club the city has to offer. Her television credits include appearances on Comedy Central, A&E, Showtime and VH1. Patty was featured on Metro Guide's Out With The Kids, Lifetime's Live from Queens and in the films Jacob's Ladder and Funny (The Movie). Most recently, Patty was the winner of both the Charlie Comedy Award at The Montreal "Just For Laughs" Comedy Festival 2006 and the Bud Light Ladies of Laughter Comedy Competition. Patty has also hosted her own morning radio talk show, The Coop and Patty Show in New York and warmed up audiences for ABC's The View.
