WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Gayle Stahlhuth presents her critically acclaimed one-woman show about Louisa May Alcott, the famous American novelist best known for writing Little Women and editing Merry Museum. Ms. Stahlhuth's show brings to life this historic figure from her teenage years, through her many years as a teacher, seamstress, nurse during the Civil War, writer and avid social reformer. Her turbulent life is depicted as she speaks out about her favorite causes: abolition, temperance, and educational reform.
