John Michael Tebelak's Godspell is based on the Gospel of Matthew, especially the parables. This production will depict Jesus' followers as a band of homeless people who are renewed by their contact with the Messiah. Through improvisation, narrative pantomime, and heartwarming song, the universal truths of the bible become a unique event. The cast and the audience laugh and cry as they study the foibles of human nature.
