Arthur Mitchell's legendary Dance Theatre of Harlem has been universally acclaimed for its multicultural repertoire, from crystalline neo-classicism to vivid works inspired by the African Diaspora. This electrifying company returns to NJPAC with a program that features St Louis Woman: A Blues Ballet, choreographed by Michael Smuin, set to songs by the immortal American songwriting team of Harold Arlen and Johnny Mercer.
