The groundbreaking Rodgers & Hammerstein classic closes our blockbuster 92nd Season. Carousel is a dramatic tale of love and redemption told through Richard Rodgers' ravishing melodies, Oscar Hammerstein's inspired book and lyrics and thrilling dances originally created by Agnes DeMille.

Young Julie Jordan falls for Billy Bigelow, a carnival barker with a mysterious past. Julie's best friend, Carrie, is suspicious of the handsome stranger, but romance soon blooms under the spell of a New England summer night. Is Julie's love strong enough to redeem the conflicted Billy?

The score boasts musical theatre standards "If I Loved You", "June is Busting Out All Over" and the stirring anthem "You'll Never Walk Alone." Carousel will reunite the artistic team who brought us CDC's sold out and multiple Perry award-nominated 2008 production of Oklahoma!
