This exuberant, multi-cultural dance company, directed by American dance icon and master innovator Bill T. Jones, has become known for a diverse, visually rich repertoire that seamlessly fuses the worlds of dance and theater. For the Saturday engagement, Jones and his polished company of movers and shakers bring a full-throttle program of solos, duets and trios. The performance will feature live music courtesy of composer and musician Daniel Bernard Roumain, and will feature a program that includes Blind Date, a dance work created in collaboration with multi-disciplinary hip-hop artist Akim Funk Buddha.
