Between the Lines is the story of an Actor and an Actress who meet as teacher and student, and whose love for the art of acting and for each other goes through various stages and evolutions. As their relationship grows from that of mentor and protege to one of love, from rivalry to partnership and eventually friendship, the show also follows the peaks and valleys of their respective careers; their tumultuous personal relationship mirrors the exhilarating and yet often difficult emotions each artist has for his or her own medium. Based upon an acting textbook, the book and lyrics are by Bryan D. Leys and music by James Campodonico.
