Alec Baldwin, Michael Cumpsty to Perform at Two River Theater November 21

Alec Baldwin and Michael Cumpsty will perform at Two River Theater on November 21 at 8 pm.

This special event will feature the actors in conversation, and will include scenes from great classics and comedies, as well as stories about their careers on stage and screen.

Baldwin has appeared on Broadway in A Streetcar Named Desire, Loot, and Twentieth Century. He received an Academy Award nomination for The Cooler and has won two Emmy Awards for his work on NBC’s 30 Rock. In addition, he has recently finished filming on the film version of the musical Rock of Ages, and will be co-starring with Renée Fleming in a special performance of A. R. Gurney’s play Love Letters at Carnegie Hall in November.

Cumpsty’s numerous Broadway credits include Sunday in the Park with George, Enchanted April, 42nd Street, and Copenhagen. He won an Obie for his performance in the title of Hamlet, with numerous other Shakespeare credits to his name, including his recent performance as Benedick in Two River’s production of Much Ado About Nothing. His film and television credits include Boardwalk Empire, Nurse Jackie, Eat Pray Love, and The Ice Storm.
