New Jersey Repertory Company presents Date of a Lifetime, a new musical with book and lyrics by Carl Kissin and music by Robert Baumgartner Jr., running from March 6-April 6 at the Long Branch theater. The production's official opening is scheduled for March 8.

Date of a Lifetime follows speed-daters Marvin and Katie, who, during their brief time together, imagine what their lives would be like if they allowed their relationship to evolve. Marlo Hunter directs and choreographs alongside musical director Daniel Rein.

The role of Marvin will be played by Jamie LaVerdiere, who comes to N.J. Rep straight from the Broadway company of Motown The Musical. His other Broadway tours include The Producers, Pirate Queen, Urinetown, and A Chorus Line. Katie will be played by Trisha Rapier, whose Broadway credits include Sister Act and The Boy From Oz, starring Hugh Jackman.

Date of a Lifetime is produced in association with Hat on a Hat, LLC.
