Theater Honors for Eli Wallach & Anne Jackson

The T. Schreiber Studio, one of New York’s foremost professional theater schools, celebrates its 31st Anniversary by presenting its second annual Life in the Theatre Achievement Award to Eli Wallach & Anne Jackson at a gala benefit dinner and award ceremony hosted by Betty Buckley.

The extraordinary careers of Eli Wallach and Anne Jackson span more than fifty years in theater, television and film. They met in rehearsal for the 1946 Off-Broadway production of Tennessee Williams’ This Property is Condemned. What followed is one of the longest-running love stories in theater history – appearing in eight Broadway shows, three Off-Broadway plays, three films, numerous regional, touring and television productions and a 51 year marriage.

The gala benefit on January 24 begins with cocktails at 6:00pm, dinner at 7:00pm, followed by entertainment and the award ceremony at The Players Club (16 Grammercy Park South). For more information about gala or raffle tickets, call 212-741-0209.
