Anne Hathaway is Miss Elizabeth Bennet

The Mint Theater Company will present a benefit reading of Miss Elizabeth Bennet, A.A. Milne’s dramatization of Pride and Prejudice, on June 16. Written in 1936, the play has never before been seen in the United States.

The reading will star Anne Hathaway, well known for her title role in the film The Princess Diaries and for her performance as Lili in the 2001 City Center Encores! production of Carnival! Also starring will be Richard Easton, who recently appeared in Observe the Sons of Ulster Marching Towards the Somme and who received a Tony Award for his performance in The Invention of Love.
