Ted Chapin to Discuss His Follies Book at NYPL

Ted Chapin, author of the new book Everything Was Possible: The Birth of the Musical “Follies” that is set to be released on September 30, will give a talk about the book and the making of Follies on Thursday, October 2.

The book chronicles the musical from its earliest rehearsals through its Boston tryout to its Broadway opening. It incorporates exclusive behind-the-scenes information on the rehearsal process that Chapin witnessed while he was working on the show as a production assistant. Also included in the book are eight pages of color photos and dozens of black and white shots.

Chapin’s talk will be held from 6pm to 7pm in the Bruno Walter Auditorium at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center. The program is free and open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. For additional information, call 212-642-0142.
