Penguin Rep Theatre in Stony Point, NY has announced its 2010 season, which will begin with Tom Dudzick's Over the Tavern (May 14-June 6). Thomas Caruso will direct this play about a family living in a cramped Buffalo apartment in the late 1950s.

The theater's season will also include Steven Dietz's Shooting Star (July 9 - August 1). Joe Brancato will direct both this look at two college friends, who reunite unexpectedly 25 years later, as well as Jeffrey Hatcher's portrait of an exacting teacher in the late 1960s, Mrs. Mannerly (October 1 - October 24), Also on the theater's schedule is a production of Mark Brown's adaptation of Jules Verne's Around the World in 80 Days (August 13 - September 5).

The Penguin Rep season will be rounded out with TheatreworksUSA's Sweet Potato Pie & Such (July 13-14), starring Queen Nur; and two special limited engagements: Jim Brochu's Zero Hour (September 25), directed by Piper Laurie, and Carlo D'Amore's No Parole, to be performed Sundays, October 10-24.
