Tony Award winner Michael Rupert will reprise his role of Professor Callahan in the national tour of Legally Blonde The Musical, starting performances at the show's Denver engagement on February 10. He replaces Ken Land, who is leaving to join the Broadway company of Promises, Promises.

The musical features music and lyrics by Laurence O'Keefe and Nell Benjamin, with a book by Heather Hach. As on Broadway, Tony Award-winner Jerry Mitchell serves as the director and choreographer.

The tour stars Becky Gulsvig as Elle Woods, as well as Rhiannon Hansen as Margot, DB Bonds as Emmett, Natalie Joy Johnson as Paulette, Jeff McLean as Warner, Megan Lewis as Vivienne, Coleen Sexton as Brooke, Tiffany Engen as Serena, Lucia Spina as Enid, and Candice Marie Woods as Pilar. Also featured are Barry Anderson, Sara Andreas, Kyle Brown, Liberty Cogen, Ven Daniel, Brooke Leigh Engen, Spencer Howard, Paul Jackel, Jason Kappus, Ashley Moniz, Kathleen Elizabeth Monteleone, Brian Patrick Murphy, CJay Hardy Philip, Alex Puette, Jonathan Rayson, Constantine Rousouli, and J.B.Wing.

In addition to originating his role in the Broadway production of the musical, Rupert received a Tony award for Sweet Charity and Tony nominations for Falsettos and The Happy Time. Other Broadway credits include Ragtime, City of Angels, Mail, and Pippin.
