With a book and lyrics by Gerome Ragni and James Rado and music by Galt MacDermot, the show depicts the birth of a cultural movement in the 60's and 70's that changed America forever. Diane Paulus directs, with choreography by Karole Armitage.
The cast is led by Steel Burkhardt as Berger, Paris Remillard as Claude, and Caren Lyn Tackett as Sheila. Additional principal cast members include Matt DeAngelis as Woof, Phyre Hawkins as Dionne, Kaitlin Kiyan as Crissy, Darius Nichols as Hud, and Kacie Sheik as Jeanie.
Lambert appeared in the L.A. production of the musical Wicked. He gained international fame during his appearance on season 8 of FOX's American Idol. Whitford was last seen on Broadway in Boeing-Boeing, and is probably best known for his Emmy-winning role as Josh Lyman on The West Wing.
