The Walter Reade Theatre is located at Broadway and 65th Street above Alice Tully Hall.

Take the 1, 9 trains to 66th Street.

Opened in 1991, this is Lincoln Center's home for the Film Society. This is one of the best movie theaters in New York City; it has wonderful sightlines, a tremendous screen, padded seats, great sound design and, of course, a superb concession stand.

The Film Society shows revivals as well as retrospectives of old and new works. Continuing series such as Independent's Night and Just For Kids make their home here.
