About

The Broadway was built in 1924 and was used alternately as a movie palace and a showcase for vaudeville. The theatre opened for theatrical purposes in 1930 with the Cole Porter revue The New Yorkers, starring Jimmy Durante. It was renovated in 1990 by Cameron Mackintosh for his long-running show Miss Saigon. This cavernous theater can accommodate up to 1,700. The best seats are located in the orchestra from Rows D through J and in the front of the rear mezzanine between rows A through D.
