ABOUT
The Biltmore Theatre reopened in 2003 after a 16-year vacancy. The theater originally opened in 1925 with the play Easy Come, Easy Go and in the 1930s was the favorite house of director George Abbott, housing his productions of Brother Rat and All That Glitters, among others. The Biltmore also housed the original production of the landmark musical Hair in 1968.
In 2008, the Biltmore was officially renamed the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre.
