At the bottom of the ocean is a world ruled by a lovesick sea dragon. To help the sea dragon win his she-dragon, Silly Jellyfish sets off on a big adventure and meets a turtle, manta rays, an octopus and other denizens of the deep. Along the way the brave little Jellyfish learns important lessons about determination and achieving goals. Based on a Japanese folk tale, The Silly Jellyfish is an imaginative production featuring a pair of nine-foot-tall dragons, octopi with arms of dryer ventilation hose, and an eye-popping 40-foot-long whale.
Recommended for ages 6 and up.
The Silly Jellyfish is presented as part of the Children's Theatre Festival at Kingsborough.
