"Attraction is often mistaken for rightness in relationships"
When two terminally single, thirty-something New Yorkers, agree to meet over an introduction dinner with their married matchmaker friends, the "perfect blind date" ends like a train wreck, derailing the evening as well as a marriage. Three months later, with the matchmakers in full divorce mode and the singles still searching, Carolyn, a headstrong, fitness obsessed, workaholic law partner gets stuck having to once again sit with Robert, a set in his way, down to earth, hopelessly romantic, elementary school teacher, when their dates happen to know each other. Given this second chance, Carolyn & Robert hit it off big-time, ditching their dates, dancing the night away and passing out together at Carolyn's place. When she wakes up the next morning, hungover and naked on the couch, just as Robert is sneaking out, a miscommunication leaves Carolyn waiting the whole next week for a call Robert has already made. Even with all the things they have in common, their "incurable dating insecurities" threaten to put the ka-bash on everything, until the matchmakers orchestrate one last "Set Up"
