Synopsis

Just in time to celebrate her own birthday, Warhol legend Holly Woodlawn makes a rare NYC appearance. This new evening of songs and stories includes her signature rendition of the Lou Reed song she inspired: "Take a Walk on the Wild Side," surprise appearances by several downtown performers, and a frank question-and-answer session. This incomparable transsexual artist was last seen in NYC in 2005; health concerns often prevent her from traveling -- so come see a legend while you still can.
