Synopsis
Hourglass Group presents The Beebo Brinker Chronicles, by Kate Moira Ryan and Linda S. Chapman adapted from the groundbreaking 1950s lesbian pulp novels by Ann Bannon. Leigh Silverman directs.
Set in pre-Stonewall Greenwich Village, The Beebo Brinker Chronicles celebrates the era when "the love that dares not speak its name" began breaking the old rules. Fueled by booze and furtive sex, the play follows the lives and loves of Laura, Beth, Beebo and Jack as they navigate unchartered territories of desire.
Benefit performance on October 19 includes after-party at Leopard Lounge and Sin Sin, sponsored by Christiania Vodka.
