Tammy Faye Starlite Tickets and Information
Synopsis
Tammy Faye Starlite, country chanteuse-cum-evangelist, brings her sweet gospel chansons to the stage of Joe's Pub in order to pray for our country in these dark, black, negroid times and implores the Lower 48, in the words of the estimable Carter Family, to "hold fast to the right."
Tammy will be accompanied by two brave white men: Keith Hartel on guitar and Dave Dunton on piano. No blues progressions will be sanctioned.
With special Jew guest Eric Drysdale - a stand up comedian who has worked as a writer for Comedy Central's The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, contributing to their acclaimed coverage of both the 2000 and 2004 elections. While there, Eric garnered 5 Emmy awards, two Peabodys, two Television Critics Awards, and an ASIFA animation award. He also contributed to the show's longtime best-seller America, The Book, winner of Publisher's Weekly 2004 Book of the Year, as well as the Thurber prize for humor.
