Synopsis
Sweet Nothings for My Neurosurgeon: an aerial escapade with my brain tumor is the true story of Chelsea Bacon's brain surgery told with Chelsea's own surreal blend of unique trapezes, suspended window-frames, and hollow mirrors. Praised as one of the preeminent stars of aerial artistry, Chelsea brings her story to the stage with director Yehuda Duenyas and performers Katie Baldwin and Zoey Phillips. Together, they create an intimate world that viscerally crumbles around a young woman who is losing touch with her intellect, her personality, and her life yet still manages to find delight, wonder, and humor within the mysterious workings of the mind and the tumor itself.
Appropriate For Ages: 12 and above
