Synopsis

CAP 21 presents Starmites, featuring music and lyrics by Barry Keating, with a book by Stuart Ross and Barry Keating. The production is directed by Barry Keating and Jeremy Quinn, with musical direction by Fred Willard and choreography by Michael Raine. Featuring guest artist Alix Korey.

Shy teenager Eleanor is mysteriously thrust into the Website World of her favorite comic book and becomes Milady, teen superhero, who must lead the Starmites, guardian angels of Innerspace, on their Quest to save the Galaxy. With the help of hip-hop heartthrob, Space Punk, Eleanor learns to own up to her inner power, defeating her foes and conquering evil. Told through a blend of contemporary musical styles, this new version of Starmites conjures up a fantastical world reminiscent of Spielberg and Tim Burton, with a touch of Tolkien, and J.K. Rowling.

This is a CAP21 Conservatory production.
