Rock of Ages Tickets and Information
Synopsis
Nominated for 5 Tony Awards including Best Musical.
American Idol's Constantine Maroulis stars as Drew and is joined by James Carpinello as Stacee Jaxx and Kerry Butler as Sherrie.
It's 1987 and the final countdown is on for a legendary Hollywood rock club facing its demise at the hands of eager developers. When a young rocker hungry for his big break and a small town girl chasing her dreams land on the scene at this infamous venue, how far will ambition drive them? And will it be lights out for the club and all the regulars and rockers who have made it their home?
Written by Chris D'Arienzo and directed by Kristin Hanggi, the musical takes audiences on a musical trip with a story set to blazing hits from iconic rockers such as Journey, Bon Jovi, Styx, Reo Speedwagon, Pat Benetar, Twisted Sister, Poison, Asia, Whitesnake, and many more.
The on-stage band, ARSENAL, includes music director/ keyboardist Henry Aronson, lead guitarist Joel Hoekstra, drummer Jon Weber, bassist Winston Roye, and guitar player David Gibbs, who also wrote the original arrangements.

Review: Rock of Ages is Awesome! by bellady
My 16 yr old daughter and I saw it for the second time last week. We took my husband who loved it. The music is amazing. The cast is phenomenal. Constantine has voice that blew me away. James Carpinella sings Wanted Dead or Alive almost as good as Bon Jovi. We were all laughing so hard at Mitchell Jarvis and Wesley Taylor. They should be up for supporting actors. We plan of seeing the show again and again if we can. The cast album is fantastic. It even has some dialogue so when we listen on our Ipods, we find ourselves singing and dancing as much as I can on the bus and laughing out loud Good luck at the Tonys!

I thought it was excellent! It was hilarious, the story was good, and obviously the music was the best part. They performed some of my favorite songs of all time and the audience was actually singing along. I dont want to give anything away, but the best part was when they did "Hit Me With Your Best Shot." The whole show was very enjoyable.
