Synopsis
Over the last three years Reverend Billy and the Stop Shopping Gospel Choir have created rousing anthems of protest at the Highline Ballroom.
Now that America has slowed its Consumerism considerably, the rampaging church has changed its name to The Church of Life After Shopping. Yes, let's shop, but locally, organically, Fairtrade and Sweatfree when we can!
The Shopocalypse has taken place, and now we are looking out at a new America, our neighborhoods are coming into focus, and amid the pain of change - there is much promise. The Life After Shopping Singers are offering their first song after the burst of the retail bubble, and it is "Fabulous Bad Weather." Let's ride that storm, children! Time to come back to church!
Let's PUT THE ODD BACK IN GOD!
Put the NEIGHBORHOOD BACK IN THE CITY!
CHANGE-ALOOYAH!
